Smartermail restore feature
If you have a folder that is corrupted or maybe you manually deleted or moved a large number of emails outside the Smartermail interface, then the Restore feature of the Manage menu is very useful.
Just select it, enter email address and then the folder that requires restoring using ‘/’ to indicate a folder hierarchy: so /inbox/2016 or /sent items/ABC company for example, then click Restore and Smartermail will re-index that folder and any emails that were not visible that should be, or vice-versa will appear/disappear. No reboot or restart required.
